Nikki Sims has 19 years of pipeline integrity and corrosion control experience. She began her career by obtaining an AAS in Corrosion Technology from Kilgore College and a BAS in Organizational Leadership from the University of Wyoming. She began working with all aspects of Direct Assessment from Pre-Assessment, Indirect Inspection Surveys, Direct Examination, and Post Assessment. Nikki also has experience with internal, external, and atmospheric corrosion control and direct supervision of those responsible for these tasks. Certified through NACE International (AMPP) as a CP1 and CP2, CIP1 and CIP2, Senior Internal Corrosion Technologist, Senior Corrosion Technologist, and PCIM 2, Nikki has used her knowledge and industry experience to revise OM manuals and company processes, train new individuals in methods for corrosion control, and design cathodic protection systems for both old and new assets. Corrosion control is her passion and she strives for excellence.
